The 10 Plagues vs. Pharaoh's Heart

But Moses answered, "Don't be afraid! Be brave, and you will see the Lord save you today." Exodus 14:13

One of the many amazing things about the Bible, in my opinion, is the way that it effortlessly applies to every generation. As we follow the story of Moses, I can't help but rest on the promise that God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and that "what God has said isn't only alive and active! It is sharper than any double-edged sword. His word can cut through our spirits and souls and through our joints and marrow, until it discovers the desires and thoughts of our hearts." (Hebrews 4:12)

I hope that you too have been challenged by Exodus to remember that God knows you and that he is actively speaking in all our lives - we simply need to listen.

This weekend we will see the extraordinary way God's authority is shown to Pharaoh. Pharaoh had many chances to see what God was doing in Egypt - 10 whole plagues worth. Maybe God isn't sending frogs your way, but God does speak to each of us through the world around us. Don't miss out on the things God wants to show you.

"Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near." Isaiah 55:6

Don't forget the upcoming volunteer meeting this Thursday, October 23rd in Elevate! See you then!!
