Now Boarding
Updates for June!
I was lucky enough, along with Fernando, Virginia, and Kami, to deliver over 320 boxes of character band-aids to the Crisis Nursery. They were so appreciative of the donation made by our kids. After turning over the band-aids we were given a tour of the facilities. The harsh realities of the lives of these kids was overwhelming, but I can honestly say that the Crisis Nursery is a beacon of hope in the midst of really challenging situations. They are always looking for more volunteers, so if you are interested, check out the website.
If you didn't pick up an HD sign yet make sure you snag one this weekend. We would love to have photos of both our kids and volunteers over the summer to post on the page.
This weekend starts the summer-long series NOW BOARDING. We will finish up our journey through the Old Testament with Ruth, Ezra, and Nehemiah.
Stay cool!
