Miracle

Be here this weekend to check out HD's version of "Miracles vs. Magic". There are many people in the world that claim to having magical powers or that they are wizards. They do these amazing things by using tricks and secrets. We will be learning about the story found in Exodus 7 when Moses and his brother, Aaron, are working to win over Pharaoh's heart so God's chosen people could be free from slavery. The king claimed not even knowing who God was and did not want the Israelites leaving. God then decided to show his power through and Aaron by telling him to throw down his staff. His staff turned into a snake, just like that! However, this didn't impress the king at all. In fact, he called in his wise men and Egyptian magicians who did the same thing with their staffs. What does this mean, then? Was Aaron's snake a miracle or did he use magic like the king's men did? MIRACLE - God showed his power was the greatest by then making Aaron's staff swallow the other snakes.

Yes magicians, wizards, and sorcerers have power but they use secrets and the Enemy's tricks. How great is it to be on God's side with Aaron and Moses and use the Almighty's power instead of earthly power that cannot save us?

Job 5:9 says, "God does wonders that cannot be understood; he does so many miracles they cannot be counted.” (NCV)
