New Memories
Guess who? That's me in the dark pink celebrating Easter with my family in Galveston, Texas. It's one of the longest standing traditions involving my entire extended family. The cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and many dogs head down to Galveston to spend the weekend together. Twenty-one people in any house can provide a good time… as long as it’s not raining. Some of my fondest memories are attending the local church and taking over rows of seating, racing to find the hidden eggs in the yard, and enjoying a huge lunch of BBQ.
This is the first in 27 years that the beach house will be mostly empty on Easter morning. We've all grown up and the grandkids now have their own families. But regardless of whether or not we will be together this weekend, we will still be celebrating and remembering the initial event that started it all. "He is not here, He is risen!" My hope and prayer is that this weekend with your Radiant Family will be one of true joy and and fondest memories.
We are gearing up for, count 'em, 11 CHILDREN'S services this weekend! Thank you to so many of you who have already given your time, energy, prayers, and plastic eggs.
HE IS RISEN INDEED! HALLELUJAH!
Because He Lives,
Ginger
